May 1st Vacation Payout Option Added

Brothers and Sisters,

The Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters is taking proactive measures to help our members and your families during these challenging times. We are happy to announce an optional THIRD distribution date to your vacation pay. If you choose this new option, you will receive in two distributions the hours worked in September 2019 – February 2020. The first distribution will cover all hours worked in September, October, and November 2019, and will be direct deposited beginning MAY 1. A second distribution will cover all hours worked in December of 2019 and January and February of 2020 and be deposited beginning July 1. Conditions will apply to receive the optional distribution:

• You must apply for benefits from March 28 through April 10, 2020

• All funds will be delivered electronically via direct bank deposit; all members must sign up to Member XG and set up your direct bank deposit

• Set up your Member XG account now; have your bank account information and direct deposit ready so your payment won’t be delayed!

If you choose to not take advantage of the optional distribution in May, you can still choose to receive the regularly scheduled full payout in July. You will get a paper request form in the mail, and you can choose a physical check as per usual. The SWRCC is working around the clock to do everything we can for you. We are meeting with elected officials and our contractors to protect our members and your ability to work. Although these are very uncertain times, one thing we know for sure is that Union Carpenters are always there to support their brothers and sisters, support their communities, and support their country. And that we will come out stronger on the back end.
